CodaMail offers multiple layout options to match your preferred email workflow and screen size. Switch between layouts anytime to find what works best for you.

Settings → Preferences → Mailbox View → Layout

Widescreen Layout

Modern three-column design optimized for wide screens and multi-tasking.

  • Folder list on the left
  • Message list in center column
  • Preview pane on the right
  • Efficient use of screen real estate
Best For: Modern widescreen monitors, users who like to see everything at once

Desktop Layout

Classic two-pane design similar to traditional email clients like Thunderbird.

  • Wide message list at the top
  • Preview pane underneath
  • Familiar traditional layout
  • Good for reading longer messages
Best For: Users familiar with Thunderbird, Outlook, or legacy Cotse interface

List Layout

Minimalist design focusing on message management without preview distraction.

  • No preview pane
  • Full message list view
  • Double-click to open messages
  • Maximum space for message management
Best For: Users who prefer to open messages in separate windows, focused email triage

How to Change Your Layout

  1. Log into your CodaMail account
  2. Click Settings in the top menu
  3. Navigate to Preferences
  4. Select Mailbox View
  5. Choose your preferred Layout from the dropdown
  6. Click Save to apply changes
